THE LIFT-UP IN THE LOCK-DOWN

During this period of lock-down, we all know that a lot of atrocities have happened.

 

  

Students are unable to go to school.

 

 

Many people have lost their jobs.

 

 

 Many people have lost their lives due to this new corona virus or other sicknesses

 

 

Many of us are fed up and tired. We dislike the fact the we have to make use of nose masks or obey the law of social distancing. We can’t wait for things to become normal.

 

 

But, sad it may look, dear sir and ma, for the over three months that we have been in this lockdown, what have we done to improve on ourselves? Or are we going to keep on folding our arms, weeping, depressed or sad till this time passes away?

 

 

 In every situation that we might find ourselves, there is always an opportunity to do something new.

 

 

 This lockdown will soon become an history. What tales are you going to tell in the future?

 

 

 Let’s try to make something out of this lockdown so that when this lockdown finally ends, we will start counting the number of achievements that we have made.

 

 

Let’s pray more

 

 

Let’s learn a new skill

 

 

 Let’s work on our innate talents.

 

 

Let’s invest in ourselves so that in this lockdown, we will instead experience a lift-up. A sudden, gracious one!

 

 

 When others are saying that there is a casting down, we will say that there is a lifting up.

 

 

When others are saying that it is too late, we will be saying that it is never too late.

 

 When others are scared of whatever tomorrow holds, we will be confident of the great future that God has for us.

 

 

May God help us all to judiciously make use of this period in Jesus name.
