Our days on earth
Are numbered
We are in this life
For just a while
Today we are here
Tomorrow we are gone
What then is life?
We are like flowers
Whose petals and sepals
Bloom and flourish today
Tomorrow, they wither
We are here as pilgrims
Our home is in heaven
A place of eternal bliss and glory
Where we will have rest from all toils
Life is vain
It does not last
The Word of God is life
It can not be changed
